About Us
We are a group of young people gathered by CSR Communications aiming to be peer educators. Our goal is to put forth into attention essential demands of the youth and problems with the youth policy in our country. We are devoted to bringing this cause closer to our peer audience by distributing valuable, moderated, and fact-checked knowledge about most fields that concern the youth including study programs, career opportunities, volunteering options etc. Our group covers a
broad geographical area in Albania in order to establish a general sense of fondness towards the EU values. This platform has been established in August 2020 by youngsters aged 14-18 of Summer Camp of the Project EU4AL financed by EU Delegation under IPA funds and implemented by Corporate Social Responsibility in Albania.
WE, as participants of ALBANIAN YOUTH FOR KNOWLEDGE, are young volunteering people devoted to the cause of youth empowerment. Apart from our main goal, we intent to progress individually as members in many social skills viable to progressing our goal. Our articles are most helpful to the age range of 15 to 29 years old, however our first contribution related to youngsters 14-18 years old.

EU – PERCEPTIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPECTATIONS

This document is an analysis of the young people perceptions, knowledge and expectations about the Albanian EU integration process, and where the youth stands. This study is part of the deliverables of the project EU for Albanian Youth (EU4AL) under the EU IPA 2015 programme “Support to Civil Society Organizations for the Implementation of Capacity Building Actions to
Increase Policy Dialogue and Awareness on European Integration Process”. The aim of this document is to understand challenges and to address them if young people will be supported to play their important role in Albanian society as part of the EU family. This study will help young people to create a policy framework, which will ensure that Albanian society as part of the EU to be prosperous, where will be more and better jobs, and young people to have clear pathways between
the world of learning and work. This policy paper will promote cohesion within Albanian society itself, development of inclusive ethnic background models where all young people including vulnerable groups can find a place. This process is an essential foundation stone for the development of citizenship practice at national level.

POLICY PAPER IIN ALBANIA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE 15-18 by CSR COMMUNICATION CENTER

This document is a policy paper produced by CSR Communication Center based on the feedback and insights provided by young people about their concerns, expectations on the youth rights and responsibilities within the context of the Albania EU integration process. These concerns and relevant recommendations are set out by CSR Communication Center in its Assessment Report YOUNG PEOPLE IN ALBANIA (14-18 YEARS OLD) AND THE EU: PERCEPTION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPECTATIONS. This study forms part of the deliverables package of the project EU for Albanian Youth (EU4AL) under the EU IPA 2015 programme “Support to Civil Society Organizations for the Implementation of Capacity Building Actions to Increase Policy Dialogue and Awareness on European Integration Process”. The aim of this document is to be a voice heard by the government and other politic - makers in Albania with regard to Voluntary Activities and raising awareness about voluntarily opportunities, participation, education and training including formal and non-formal education.

INITIATIVES
Our first initiative named “NATIONAL VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE” is to raise awareness of volunteering
activities and to use social media to promote both Formal Volunteering (giving unpaid helps through groups, clubs, organization, and Informal Volunteering – giving unpaid help as an individual to people who are not relatives, thus by making appeal mostly to young people. Our aim is to make presentation to the different high schools in the country in order to promote this initiative to our
peers directly. Our slogan is “GIVE YOURSELF TO GAIN YOURSELF”
Within our webpage, we will establish the Platform “EU4AL DO-IT” to provide volunteering opportunities, among others. The online Platform will help young people to:

ï‚· Find volunteering opportunities for causes and NGOs that interest them;

ï‚· Set up their own voluntary project;

ï‚· Lobbying to translate their volunteering hours into job skills;
Therefore, we call the donors, private institutions, government and youngsters themselves to
support financially this Initiative in order to make it sustainable. NATIONAL VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE is an open call for two young people categorized into two groups 15-19 and 20-29 from different background to help them develop greater confidence, self- awareness and responsibility with a view to creating a more responsible and engaged society. This initiative will be led by CSR Communication Center and delivered in all regions across the Albania in cooperation will local NGOs to run the initiative for an indefinite time. They can be youth and NGOs, voluntary, community, and social enterprise and private sector partnerships. The programme will be
organized into a number of phases:

Training on personal development- share information on study opportunities in EU countries

ï‚· Adventure- young people will spend up to one week taking part in outward bound activities;

ï‚· Skills- young people will spend a week away from home (summer holidays only) learning to be self - sufficient, develop new skills and learn about the needs of their local community;

ï‚· Social action – the group will decide on and implement a social action programme (30 hours of volunteering) which will make a mark in their local community.

Participants should pay a fee, maximum 50 Euro for a place. Bursaries should be available for those
unable to meet the cost and support is provided for young people with special needs.
The target number of participants should be at least 140,000 young people amounting to 20% of
young people in Albania. Through contribution of young people we will build and populate volunteering platform
”EU4AL DO-IT” and promote volunteering in Albania.
